The broadbandshow, created and managed by Bric, is a unique project which creates broadband content and applications which demonstrate the effectiveness of broadband connectivity.  Our first £1.5million project produced clear business benefits for a wide range of small companies in the tourism and advanced engineering sectors of the South West of England, as well as developing cutting edge skills for the digital media companies who produced its broadband content.

The broadbandshow was the first UK project to create a Broadband Content Commissioning Fund, devising a model which can be adapted for other regions and across other sectors. Our demos are in use around the UK, and the
Team Interact project in Yorkshire is using our project assets under licence arrangements with Junction YK.

At a national project presentation for broadbandshow SW in February 2004, Stephen Timms, the then Minister of State for Energy, e-Commerce and Postal Services
endorsed the project as 'providing a significant contribution to catalysing the development of broadband content in the UK'.

Our team have developed a range of skills related to content commissioning, project and roadshow management. For further information or to discuss licensing or franchising arrangements please contact
Bric.

Broadbandshow SW was funded by the DTI Broadband Fund via the South West of England Regional Development Agency.
